Last year, JUICE swung by The Space at Bangkok, Thailand to have a quick peek at what’s in store for Converse fans out there in their upcoming SS14 collection. We have been holding our tongues since, and now, behold, some of the highlights from the All Star collection! Believe us when we say that what you see here is just the tip of their very colourful iceberg for the New Year.
CHUCK TAYLOR ALL-STARS ‘70
The legend makes a comeback this season all donned up in new colours and reinforcements to glide its way through decades more of heritage, much like it has on the feet of pop culture trendsetters like Kurt Cobain, Sin City’s Dwight McCarthy, Wiz Khalifa, and many more. Available in six core colourways – Sunflower, Black, Heritage Blue, Parchment, Crimson, and True Navy – for the first time, two inaugural prints will also be seen on this old timer; camouflage and glow-in-the-dark zebra prints. If you’re one to take your Chucks seriously, know that this collection too features a reinforced double layered canvas upper, and comfortable sock liner for both the high-top and low-top styles.

Celebrating dynamic pops of colours and elevated silhouettes to the fullest, the Tie-Dye collection showcases an explosion of new bright colours in new marbleized tie-dyes for those who would like to add a little texture to their Chucks in this vibrant festival season. Available in Nightshade/White, Black/White, Eglantine/White, Mesange/White, Mesange/Multi, Nightshade/White, Dozar Blue/Ensign Blue/Puritan Gray, Graphite/Old Silver/Oyster Gray, Red/Radio, and Blue/Black, in high-top and low-top styles.

The ladies, however, may choose to start their New Year on a higher note with this all new All-Stars design. Not only does it come with new heights with a two-inch plus concealed wedge, the Platform Plus gives a little feminine spring in its steps to its sporty silhouette. Whilst it may be rather dull from the top, but every step you take reveals a dramatic burst of bold colours on the soles. Available in Diva Pink, Black/Diva Pink, Nightshade, Puritan Gray/Nightshade, Palmgreen/Citronelle, and White/Mésange.
